Experience of applying for planning permission has shown us how to successfully explain the concept of a scheme to the planners. An example of a planning permission case study that we got approved was our application for a block of apartments in Poplar, London. Our planning application was originally for a four storey block, but by convincing the planning officers of the benefits to the locality they were supportive of the scheme and recommended increasing the structure to a 5 storey building. As a result of our pre-application planning meeting we were able to have a more profitable development.
