Key Achievements:
Constrained Site
Due to the requirement for a piling rig to be brought on to a restrictive site situated at the rear of two properties with a constricted access road between the adjacent houses and a golf course car park to the rear, the delivery of plant was coordinated with the Metropolitan Police. They ordered that the delivery of the piling rig was undertaken at 6:00am. This would have the least impact on traffic in the local area, especially on this narrow residential road which is often used as a cut through route. We circulated a newsletter by hand to local residents to advise of the planned delivery time.
Community Relations
Our priority is the relationships between our clients and the local community so that the development can be successfully and safely completed. Due to the objections to the proposal throughout the planning stage, we were apprehensive about how the construction works would impact the neighbour’s lives. In response to this, we invited the local residents to a meeting at the nearby golf course, so that we could initiate a dialogue, address their concerns, and implement clear communication throughout the project. This meeting was very well received, and the local residents were appreciative that a contractor had considered their needs.
Recognition
A secure home is often taken for granted but at Kisiel Group we make sure that this element is included in our designs. We met the vigorous standards required by the Metropolitan Police and achieved a rarely given gold award. The high standard of work and our conscientious delivery of the development meant we achieved several awards.
- A rare GOLD “Secured By Design” Award
- “New Home Project – London Winner 2019” from the Federation of Master Builders
- And the development was featured on the cover of industry magazines.
