In 1941 a group of 15 small builders were determined to help Britain ‘build back better’ after the destruction of so many buildings during the London Blitz. So they formed the Federation so that they could work together on quality restorations of bomb-damaged homes.
Since then, the FMB has a proud history of supporting small and medium-sized construction companies and has grown to be the largest trade association in the UK construction industry.
As a Director of the FMB representing London members, Annie was delighted to join the celebrations to continue the work of promoting excellence in the construction industry.
