Lukasz and Annie attended the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) Parliamentary Reception on 12 September giving the opportunity to speak to politicians and industry colleagues about the vital role that SME builders play in the UK economy and the need to retrofit homes.Lord Callanan, Construction Minister, spoke about the value of the UK’s small housebuilder and praised their adaptability. We also heard from Bill Esterson MP, the Shadow Minister for Business and Industry, who was committed to creating a comprehensive skills plan and to push for energy improvements to homes.
Relaxing afterwards on the House of Lords Terrace, Lukasz and Annie chatted with Arthur McArdle, fellow FMB National Board member and FMB Immediate Past President.
